Each year we donate our time & skills to a good cause. The COVID-19 pandemic added more isolation and distress for victims of domestic abuse.
Aoibhneas is a domestic abuse support service that provides information, referral services, and safe accommodation for women and children who are forced to leave their homes because of domestic violence. The old website was outdated and didn’t serve its purpose well, so Aoibhneas needed a web design that was both informative and user-friendly.
“During Covid-19, we faced unprecedented demand for our services, necessitating us to introduce hybrid forms of contact and enhance visibility through all social and digital media forms. Our website presented a particular challenge, as it didn’t speak to victims/survivors of abuse or highlight clearly what we could do to help.
As a charity, we didn’t have the resources to invest in this critical area. Hidden Depth took on our complete redesign free of charge. Aware of our need to maintain the website, Dave provided staff with the tools and resources to update the website without outsourcing at additional cost.”
